I've just discovered this wonderful resource, not just for writing, but for: acting, dance, modeling, music, film, photography, radio, TV, visual arts, comedy - I could go on.  It's the GIG DIRECTORY, an online community with classifieds and forums and thousands and thousands of users! Best of all it's FREE TO POST anything. Here's their list: "your resume, job, event, workshop, press release, grant, festival, for sale, rent, wanted, product or service." Once you sign up you get a free newsletter. You can also subscribe for even more great services like job referrals, and a head-shot library. Check it out but, pace yourself, there's a lot to absorb.
